Roosevelt Elivert, a native of Queens NY, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Hampton University. Roosevelt was a software engineer at companies such as Nortel Networks and EMC Corporation. He eventually pursued a career in Real Estate in the Raleigh / Durham area. Shortly thereafter he joined State Farm. He eventually opened his State Farm Agency in Research Triangle Park. Roosevelt’s true passion is helping people manage the risks of everyday life, helping them recover from the unexpected and assisting them in realizing their dreams. He achieves this by providing Insurance and Financial Services through State Farm.
Roosevelt has been an ongoing partner with Habitat for Humanity’s Youth United of Durham. It is an initiative that mobilizes young people to fund and build a house with Habitat for Humanity.
As the current Director of Community Affairs for the Raleigh Durham Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, Roosevelt is also the Chairperson of the Leaders of Tomorrow program. This program provides mentors and resources to marginally academic performing high school students who have leadership potential. It exposes and motivates students to make good choices about college, their career and their future.
