  • Applications accepted until late August
  • Winners notified via email before the September’s General Body Meeting
  • Winners attendance required at the September’s General Body Meeting
  • Winners must participate in the LOT Program

Scholarship Program

The Raleigh-Durham Chapter of the National Back MBA have been giving scholarships to undergraduates and graduates for over 20 years.  Our scholarships are given based on a student’s merit and financial need.  Applications are accepted until late August.  Winners are notified via email before the September’s General Body meeting.  All winners attendance are required at the September’s General Body meeting for a formal introduction to the Chapter and LOT Leadership.  All winners are required to participate in the chapters events and Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) program.

Undergraduate

  • Member of the Leaders of Tomorrow Program
  • Attending an accredited college/university in the Raleigh, Durham and surrounding areas.
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0
  • Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in disciplines supported by mission of the NBMBAA-RDU  (i.e. – Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, HR, Marketing, Management)
  • Complete Essay and Application
  • Provide an unofficial college transcript (if selected for scholarship an official transcript will need to be mailed to the Chapter’s P. O. Box)
  • Provide a letter of Recommendation
  • Deadline for submission: late August

Graduate

  • Attending an accredited college/university within Raleigh, Durham and surrounding areas.
  • A member of the Raleigh-Durham Chapter of NBMBAA (can join before submitting application.  (Send copy of membership confirmation with application)
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0
  • Currently working towards an advanced degree in disciplines supported by the mission of the NBMBAA-RDU  (i.e. – MBA or Master’s Degree Program)
  • Complete Essay and Application
  • Provide an unofficial college transcript  (if awarded the scholarship an official copy will need to be mailed to the Chapter’s P. O. Box)
  • Provide a letter of Recommendation
  • Deadline for submission: late August

      I hope you had a wonderful time at the National Conference. It was a wonderful experience and we encourage all to attend. In 2012 the Raleigh Durham Chapter will be hosting the Carolina Conference and Career Fair and hope you can attend. Be on the look out for information pertaining to this conference.
